This project was David’s desire to have a functional pair of modern day, adidas cycling shoes. Inspired by old adidas cycling shoes and their lacing systems, David determined that the Ultraboost would be the perfect contemporary donor to reimagine the original design. With the donor shoes, he used his footwear making skills to realize this idea into a functional pair of cycling shoes that he frequently rides and has even raced in.
